In 2018, Elliott Duffy Garrett entered into a charity partnership with Cancer Fund for Children.
Cancer Fund for Children is a fantastic charity which provides help and support to families at home, in hospital, in the community and at their therapeutic short break and residential centre in Newcastle, Co Down. They aim to equip the whole family for what the future may hold and have helped thousands of families, working tirelessly to provide a range of services to make those families embarking on their individual journeys easier.
All of our staff threw themselves enthusiastically into a number of fundraising events to include the 2018 Belfast marathon relay, the Giant Coastal Challenge, a bake day and a pub quiz raising £3,656.50, but none more so than Kevin McVeigh, who ran the London Marathon and raised a further £3,200.00.
We had a lot of fun working with Cancer Fund for Children during 2018 and were delighted to present them with a cheque for £6,856.50 earlier this year. We wish Cancer Fund for Children well as they continue to provide their important services in the future.
