Christopher Duffy is Head of Elliott Duffy Garrett’s Dispute Resolution and Litigation Department. He is a Partner specialising in all areas of commercial litigation including insolvency, debt recovery and enforcement, land and property litigation, contract, negligence, plaintiff and defence personal injury, product liability and injunctions.  Christopher advises and acts on behalf of property companies and developers, banks, other financial service providers, companies, insolvency practitioners, insurers and individuals.  He is also very experienced in multi-party actions and complex disputes.   Christopher takes a commercial approach to dispute resolution and is highly experienced in dispute resolution by way of mediation.

Christopher conducts a wide variety of significant commercial, property, product liability, personal injury and insolvency-related litigation involving retention of title issues and antecedent transactions.

The 2019 Legal 500 directory commends Christopher as “very impressive and extremely hardworking.”  His property litigation expertise was noted by Legal 500 2018 with reference to representation of a financial services provider in a £3.4m recovery action.   Recent client endorsements highlight Christopher’s “invaluable” and “excellent” help and guidance and “professionalism throughout the process.”
